I'm Heather Brooks.  I live in Asheville, NC.  I make this temporal art from mushrooms, berries, nuts and leaves that I find.  I grow wildflowers and incorporate them into the art also.  I love learning about the ecosystems of the southern Appalachian mountains.  And in many ways this art has become a path for learning and facilitating  general peacefulness in my life.  I post my daily finds on my Instagram page.
